Louis Vuitton remembered my birthday!

A courier guy appeared on my doorstep and gave me this

I guess the good people at Louis Vuitton remembered my birthday today. I am pleasantly surprised.

Me thinks that sometimes it is the small things that makes one comes back to a place, patronize a store or brand... not just the big things, like giving a discount on stuff that one buys.

PS. The cake is tasty by the way.

Thank you Louis Vuitton. U make my birthday today a memorable one.

Rumour: Louis Vuitton pulling remnants of Marc Jacobs off the shelves

Kindly take this as a rumour.. I cannot verfy if it is factual.

I understand (from sources) that Louis Vuitton is going to discontinue products from Marc Jacobs era. One of the products is the leopard print and LVoe stuff.. What this means is that products bearing the leopard prints and LVOE logos ,e.g., scarves, shoes, etc is going to be discontinued in the near future.
I guess anyone who is interested in those prints better get them before they all dissappear from the shelves. If this is true, then it is a sad thing. I happen to lvoe the leopard prints..
Anyways, again, this is a rumour - take it with a pinch of salt.

Louis Vuitton men's spring/summer 2015 and color by numbers - what is Kim Jones thinking? Part III

There is something to be said about Louis Vuitton Spring summer 2015 menswear. It sure is interesting. I called these 3 colorblock shirts, the alphabet shirts. I find these shirts pretty interesting, but not for the right reasons.

I cannot wear any of these 2 shirts (pictured below) on its own. On their own, these shirts lack a certain meaning. It looks like something one would wear during a parade, or some kind of uniform. But, together, they make sense. L for Louis, V, for Vuitton. So I guess, if I were to buy this shirt, I have to buy it also for my friend, otherwise, nobody knows that these shirts will cost me a bundle.

However, this shirt (pictured below) can be used on its own, if U ever had any ambitions to be one of the X-men, and the X is in pink! NICE! I always like Beast and cyclops. Or maybe I could be Storm, that would be interesting too.

Somehow, I think these shirts might start a trend next year. I guess all I have to do now is to wait and see. I could be wrong, but then again..

Louis Vuitton Mens Fall/winter 2014 Damier Cobalt collection

Here is some pictures of the new Men's Fall/Winter 2014 Damier Cobalt bags.

1.  Portfolio Damier Cobalt

The bag is equipped with only 1 handle. U can also use it as a clutch, or for thin documents. I find this fascinating. The bag is small, manageable, but slightly quirky

Only 1 handle. I guess it would cost a lot more if Louis Vuitton choose to put in another handle. lol

The Portfolio Damier cobalt is retailing for SGD$2070

2. Damier Cobalt Folded messenger.

This is similar to the portfolio.. but U can fold it into 2 and carry it with a sling.
This is how it looks like

The rings there is meant for a sling. U can use it as a messenger bag. Or U can remove the ring, Unfold it, and carry it as a tote bag.

The Damier Cobalt Folded messenger is retailing for SGD$4350

3. Damier Cobalt North-South tote

Last but not least is the Damier Cobalt North South Tote.

This is the bag with the sling on.

I prefer it without the sling. It just looks nicer, classier and goes well with business/formal look

The inside look of the tote bag

The Damier Cobalt North-South Tote bag is retaling for SGD$4150..

I was lucky to get a sneak preview of these bags. I think these bags will sell. The current Damier Cobalt collection is so humdrum, and sleep inducing. I believe these new bags would add the little oomph in the Damier Cobalt line.

Louis Vuitton i8 carbone bags at BMW world 2014 - Singapore

I got an invite to the BMW World Singapore 2014 which was held at Marina Bay Sands from 1st August to 3rd August by Louis Vuitton Singapore.

It says on the envelope that it is not a car show. Unfortunately, it is. In fact, it is a big car show. I saw many people looking to buy BMW's. Lots of people opening and closing car doors, going in and out of cars, test driving, albeit very slowly around the tracks provided and generally, loud, boisterous and filled with screaming children.. but, the people at BMW keeps them well occupied with a special place for them to ride bicycles and toy cars (all BMW of course) while the parents shop, oops I mean, while the parents appreciate the world of BMW.

Not forgetting the gratuitous all important shot of a car with a beautiful woman beside it.
What would a car show be without a beautiful model next to a car.

And last but not least, the all new concept car

To me, I prefer the bags that were on display next to the i8. The all new Louis Vuitton Carbone bags collection.

The bags are beautiful. It looks fantastic. I love the way the carbon fiber reflect light. Desirable and futuristic I might add.

This is the briefcase. It has ample space for computers, documents, and knick knacks, and even clothes, for an overnight trip in the brand new BMW i8. Ahh, one can only dream. However, as much as I would want to like this bag, I couldn't. The bag looks like it is expecting a baby bag anytime now.. It looks pregnant, very pregnant. The bag is not light. I expected it to be light ( I carried the LV carbone Keepall before, but the weight of these bags came as a surprise). I guess the extra weight came from the materials used to keep the bag in shape.

Here are the rest of the picts that I took.
Personally, I think these bags look best when it is used together with the i8. They look good together. Individually, these bags just don't do it for me.
